Winnifa B. Clark is the daughter of Willie H. Brown and the late Onell Brown. She was born in Bronx, New York, later moved and raised in the Vance
SC community. She is now a native of Holly Hill
SC.
Education
She received her education from the public schools in Holly Hill SC. She continued her education at Rutledge College, Charleston SC, receiving an Associate Degree in Executive Secretarial. Later, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Claflin University, Orangeburg SC.
Memberships & Community Involvement
She is a member of the South Carolina Clerk of Court and Register of Deeds Association (CCROD), South Carolina Association of Countywide Elected Executives (SCACEE), the National Child Support Enforcement Agency (NCSEA), the Vance and Surrounding Areas Concerned Citizens organization, and she serves as a community Pastor.
Experience as Clerk of Court
She was elected as Orangeburg County Clerk of Court in November 2008 and was rewarded by the National Council of American Executive "2014 Top Ranked U.S. Executive". She is currently serving her Second term. She was re-elected in 2012. She believes her past experiences in the Clerk's office for 17 years have translated into a successful tenure.
She will continue to be dedicated and provide exceptional service to the residents of Orangeburg County. She is proud and honored to serve the citizens of Orangeburg County Locally, State, and on a National level.
Responsibilities
The Clerk of Court is responsible for accepting and processing all paperwork concerning the Court of General Sessions, Court of Common Pleas, and Family Court. The Clerk of Court is elected every four years.
Family
She is married to Kenneth Clark. They are the proud parents of Kendrick and Kendrea.
