Petition Candidates
Soil & Water petitions require signatures of 100 qualified registered voters of the county or 1% of the registered voters in the county, whichever is lesser. If you have 10,000 or more voters in your county, 100 signatures will
be required. When a candidate files a petition, they will receive a petition receipt.
