The Orangeburg Area Development Center is a multi-purpose community center which was designed to meet the recreational, social, and cultural needs of people of all ages.
Youth Programs
Emphasis is placed on the needs of our youth as indicated by our programs, which include:
- An after school program for children 5 to 12 years old
- A child development program for 3 year olds
- An exercise program for adults
- Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts
- Organized basketball for youth and adults
- A STAR program (designed to teach teens responsibility)
- A summer education and recreational program for children 5 to 12 years old
Partnerships
We form partnerships with several civic groups, educational institutions, and other government agencies to carry out these functions.
