Batteries & Paint
All batteries and paint must be placed on the pallet under the shed; empty and dried paint cans may go in the compactor.

Compactor
- All Paper Products
- Aluminum Food Containers
- Antifreeze Containers (empty)
- Ceramic Goods
- Clothing (if no separate bin available)

- Empty or Dried Paint Cans, Paint Brushes/Rollers

- Grocery Bags (plastic and paper)

Metal Bin

- Large household appliances (refrigerator, stove, etc.); must be empty of contents and door detached

- Metal Bed Springs and Rails (not burned)
- Metal Satellite Dish (small dishes only; larger dishes must be broken down or taken to landfill

Tires
15 tires may be dropped off, per household per year (car and pick-up truck tires only). Other truck, 18 wheeler, tractor tires, and all off-road tires must be taken to the landfill.
Yard Trash Bins
- Burned metal bed springs
- Burned-out 55 gallon drums (no ashes)
- Carpet, carpet padding, vinyl flooring
- Commodes, lavatory (ceramic bathtubs or fiberglass showers)
- Construction and demolition debris
- Fence posts (no creosote)
- Fence wire and single strand wire
- Furniture (empty, wooden or upholstered)
- Insulation material
- Leaves, shrubs, pine straw and pine cones
- Limbs (up to 4 inches in diameter)
- Mattresses, window panes, box springs
- Water hoses
Please note that all large loads of concrete, bricks and other debris must be brought to the County Landfill!
Used Motor Oil & Cooking Oil
- Antifreeze and cooking oil must be placed under shed in closed containers
- Farmer oil is accepted at the county landfill
- Gasoline/oil mixture can be disposed at the santee site only
- No gasoline, kerosene, diesel, cleaning fluids or cooking oil can be mixed with used oil
- Non-contaminated used motor and cooking oil
Unacceptable Items
- Burned Trash
- Catalytic Converters, Tail Pipes or Mufflers
- Closed Containers such as Gas Tanks (oxygen, freon, helium or cooking gas bottles)
- Gasoline, Asbestos, Pallets and Creosote Lumber
- No hazardous waste will be accepted
- Shingles
- Tractor Tires
