What We Provide
  • Assistance in the preparation and filing of claims with the Veterans Service Center and the Board of Veterans Appeals.
  • Help veterans to file applications for the review of discharge or the correction of military records.
  • Coordinate with other local and state agencies to render advice and assistance to veterans, their dependents and survivors.
  • Record and maintain veterans military discharge (DD Form 214) according to SC Code Section 30-2-50 and 30-2-50 (A).
  • Assist in filing annuity applications for surviving spouses of military and civil service retirees.
  • Provide veterans with information about how to obtain a VA home loan.
  • Provide applications for obtaining a Certificate of Eligibility which is required to secure a VA Home Loan Guarantee.
  • Coordinate volunteer drivers to transport veterans to the Dorn VAMC, Columbia, SC/Orangeburg Community Outpatient Clinic.
