OCSO seeks man for $32,000 breach of trust

10/2/2015 | The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted breach of trust charges after he took more than $32,000 from an Orangeburg County man, according to warrants.
Stacy Alan Wiggins, 43, of various cities to include Batesburg, Lexington and Florence, is being sought on two counts of breach of trust over $10,000.
According to the incident report, Wiggins took a senior Branchville man to a local bank in 2014 where the senior took out a $32,000 loan on his own home. That money was then given to Wiggins to invest in “car deals.”
A second breach of trust warrant was obtained against Wiggins when it was said a 2004 Crossland camper worth about $12,000 was entrusted to Wiggins and never returned.
Warrants states no cars were purchased with the victim’s money and that the camper was sold.
The victim, 79, passed away in February. His surviving family members notified the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office in his stead.
If anyone has any information on Wiggins’ whereabouts, they are asked to call the OCSO at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
